Course Summary: Literature Research and Dissertation Design
This course is designed to support Master’s students in Civil Engineering in the successful completion of their final-year research project. It provides the methodological foundations necessary for conducting rigorous literature research and designing a high-quality academic dissertation.
The course covers the key stages of scientific research, including identifying reliable sources, utilizing specialized databases, structuring a research problem, and writing an academic document in accordance with established standards. Students will also learn how to effectively present their research during the oral defense.
